7YW Days 9-11 | Demolition Days

Another three days in the bag, the seven years' winter rolls on, gaining steam as she runs her course. I pulled into Bristol late on Monday evening and didn't get a good hop on Tuesday. I ended up heading over to Sugarbush in the afternoon to ride with Dom on his 2nd official day of shredding the gnar.

They got them some snow. Every now and again I would duck off the trail and catch some fabulous powder. Having spent some days on the road in New England, I can tell you that pretty much everyone feels this is the best start to a season they have ever seen. It is much needed for the ailing snow industry.

Dom started the day a bit shaky on both edges and with the familiar lack of any real control. Every run he made progress, picking up a heel edge, then some toe, until finally he was laying carves. I was so pumped to see him progressing that I started trying switch 3's and bs180s. So much fun.

Hey Guy.

Wednesday I got a late jump for North Conway and the inaugural demolition days. Mt. Warshington was looking full of goodness and should be rode, sometime.

Rolled straight up to Cranmore, talked my way into a ticket and after a few cruisers made my way over to the park. Jess, Brent, and the crew were in build mold.

I love shovels, so I shoveled some snow and sporked a bit as well. Park is looking sick and they have more metal than the Scrap yard in Hinesburg. That place is going to be ill for the jibby kids.

Brent and I made the sacrifice and drank it white with the stiff. I awoke to the chipper nag of Brent. After a coffee, a bun, and some berry juice, I still felt like ass. The snow keeps coming, and it certainly kept coming today. Got to Bretton Woods around 9-ish and met the crew.

Price, Rocket, Brent, and Mike all let me tail along for a day. Another big dump, another day in the white room, this 7YW gibberish is for reals.

Brent (t)ripping through the goods on the less legal trail. He nearly rolled it, but kept it straight, no loss of mirror, this time.

Somewhere in that picture is a muppet riding the eastern versions of pillows, dreaming of $12 lodgeburgers, and probably making some sort of strange scream noise. Note - Price is rocking a Seven Years' Winter sticker job on his deck, that's respect.

The missile said that his board was fully engaged in the snow. I don't really know what that means, but I bet it feels good cause Rocket had huge grin for the whole of the voyage.

Seriously, I have seen some shit in my day, but damn, check this out. The youngster putting the hurt on.

Another timeless day, so psyched to ride with all the demolition crew, I will be back for some warshington laters.
Still snowing, you better get some.
